Tuesdays till Two Lunchtime Concert – Alasdair Cameron (Piano)

Alasdair CameronThe Tuesdays Till Two summer season continues with a concert by Scottish pianist Alasdair Cameron, making his first appearance at St John’s, and featuring music by Schubert, Chopin and Liszt.

  • Fryderyk Chopin (1810 – 1849) – Two Nocturnes:

          C sharp minor,op.27/1;
          G minor,op.37/1

  • Ferenc Liszt (1811 – 1886) “Les jeux d’eaux à la villa d’Este”, (Années de Pèlerinage)

The concert will begin promptly at 1pm. Admission is free, but those who are able to afford it are asked to make a donation.   The suggested amount is £5.  

As usual the St John's café will be open from noon, staffed by volunteers from The Green Backyard, and a selection of hot drinks and home made cakes, scones etc will be on sale with all profits going to support the work of The Green Backyard.
