Traditional opening of Bridge Fair and Sausage Supper

Sausage Supper
On Tuesday 2 October 2018 at 6.00pm, The Right Worshipful the Mayor of the City of Peterborough, Councillor Chris Ash will officially open the Bridge Fair by reading the traditional proclamation, following which we will enjoy "all the fun of the fair".

This year the fair will again be on The Embankment and the Sausage Supper will be held at the Town Hall.
There is still time to purchase your tickets for this prestigious event; dress code - lounge suits.  Tickets for the supper are priced at £25 each, wine and soft drinks will be available to purchase on the night.   Proceeds from the event will go towards the Mayors charities which this year are DeafBlind UK, Alzheimer’s Society and local Christian charity,Light Project Peterborough.  Download your booking form and information here

The Mayor will be welcoming guests who wish to process to the fair at the Town Hall from 6.00pm and at approximately 6.15pm, will lead a procession to the entrance of the Fair for the official opening at 6.30pm. 
When everyone has enjoyed the fair they will make their way back to the Town Hall for a sausage supper which commences at 7.45pm.  

The nearest car park is Car Haven, which is a pay and display car park and is immediately behind the Town Hall, access to the Town Hall is via St Peter’s Road.  Guests may be dropped off at the rear of the Town Hall in St Peter’s Road, where there is also wheelchair and disabled access.
