1st / 2nd Dec: St Matthew's Church, Eye Wreath Festival

Wreath Festival
St Matthew’s Church in Eye is holding its annual Christmas Wreath Festival and there is still time for you to take part!

When:      Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd December.
Where:    St Matthews Church, Eye, PE6 7UU
Time:        10.00am - 4.00pm, Saturday & 12.00 noon - 4.00pm, Sunday

Numerous groups, individuals and businesses in the village will be taking part and if last year’s Festival is anything to go by, the wreaths on show will have a wide variety of designs, each one reflecting the interests of the organisation or person who made it.

The Revd Colin Hurst, Vicar of Eye, Newborough and Thorney, said: “People put such a lot of imagination into their designs and it’s always fun to see what they come up with! The Wreath Festival is a lovely way for people from the village and further afield to get together at the start of Advent.”

Refreshments will be on sale, and there will be stalls with a Christmas theme. There is no admission charge and everyone is welcome.

If anyone would like to make a wreath for the festival then please contact the Revd Colin Hurst on 01733 222334 or email
