27th Feb: Meet, Eat & Share Ideas - Venue Change!

Inspired by the Communities Fund, the event is run by locals for people and groups with project ideas around community cohesion and resilience, wanting to work collaboratively with each other. It will use speed-networking techniques to help connect and create the ground for project collaborations in a trusting environment.

Where:   New Venue Details! Smile Restaurant  48 Westgate, Peterborough  PE1 1RE   
Time:      6 - 8.30pm,

Around a delicious group meal the event will include:

  • Idea Share: Project ideas sharing (and call-outs to the audience for help!)
  • What the research says: A presentation by Dr Alison Davies on Peterborough Racial Equality Council’s longitudinal research into the views and experiences of young people from BAME backgrounds about how community cohesion could be improved in Peterborough.
  • Networking: Opportunities to meet other groups and people  
  • Integration Fund-How to Apply:  Nicola Francis, Peterborough City Council, will also be present to talk through the Communities Fund application process in more detail and be on hand to help people with application.

You are welcome to bring along drinks, or buy soft drinks at the venue.

Because of limited numbers, guests should meet the specification of being a local person or group wanting to work with others and ideally only 1 - 2 people per group.
