Please Help to Support the BIG Champion Climb!

Access Champions
I am a SEN tutor at City College Peterborough and am writing today to share details about our latest event!
I work with a group of young disabled adults called The Access Champions who are passionate about creating a positive change for Peterborough’s disabled community.  They have carried out numerous access audits around the city and worked with many companies as well as the council on how they can make Peterborough more accessible.
In May 2019, they are climbing Snowdon to raise money to hold regular, accessible social events for Peterborough’s disabled community.

The idea came from Peterborough’s Big Youth Shout Out; a project looking at the hopes, dreams, wishes and wants of Peterborough’s disabled community.  One of the things that many young adults wanted was somewhere they could go to meet new people, try new activities and receive advice on things important to them, e.g. employment, education, housing, etc.

The Access Champions want to deliver this service and hence, we are climbing Snowdon to raise the much needed funds.  The group are training each week with a personal trainer and are doing numerous events to promote their climb.
Please could you help to promote this event so that we can raise the money needed to make this a reality for Peterborough.
